Who Is That???

The page that explains who that person referenced was

Matt Matt is the volunteer who lived in Concepción de Maria as a Peace Corps Volunteer with Andrew (Andres) for two years before our arrival.  Matt's claim to fame was helping to bring the library to town, and being an all around nice guy.  Matt is currently employed by the Riecken Foundation which is the foundation that funded the library project.  Matt is responsible for the Honduras and Guatemala projects, present and future.  He is also a good friend and someone we stay with when we are in the capitol as he has a house there.  Matt has made living 6-8 hours from the capital by bus a much more tolerable experience as we occasionally get a ride from him in his Land Cruiser, which cuts the drive time down to 3 hours in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Gloria Galindo Neighbor and landlord. Gloria is the mother to Yelsi, Anyi, Estefani, Hector, Jennifer Maria and wife to Miguel.  Gloria is also daughter to Dona Aminta and Don Rafael.  She is our neighbor and the woman who rent our house from.
Azucena and Rafael Mayorga Neighbors and good friends.  Azucena and Rafael are parents to Ruth, Sandra, and Rafa.  They are also our two most trusted people in town.  Azucena is a nurse at the local clinic and runs a pharmacy from her house treating people at all hours of the day.  Rafael is a retired bus driver and has several plots of land that he has people managing for him.
Sandra, Juan and Andrea Sandra, daughter to Azucena and Rafael, and sister to Ruth and Rafa.  Sandra is a teacher at the high school and our former Spanish teacher.  Juan is her husband and Andrea is her daughter.
Ruth, Mario, and Ruth Maria Ruth, Daughter to Azucena and Rafael, and sister to Ruth and Rafa.  Ruth is a teacher at the high school and our current Spanish teacher.  Mario is her husband and Ruth Maria is her daughter.  Ruth is Jennifer's best friend here in Concepción de Maria.
Professor Eloy Cruz My community partner and former director of the high school.  Eloy is the current president of INDEHSP a non governmental organization that is responsible for managing the funds going into the library.  He is married to Profesora Miriam who is the director of the high school where we teach.
Dona Aminta and Don Rafael Mother and father to Gloria.  they also have 4 other children; Lito, Carolina, Edith, and Dennis.  Two of which live in Concepción.  Aminta and Rafael own a corner store and have been very kind to us.
Venancio Matoya Jennifer's community partner, formally the director of project at the cooperative he now serves as the general manager of the cooperative.  He is a very nice guy, very organized and we were very please to see him given the general manager position.
Douglas Douglas is a 15 year old boy who we have taken under our "wing" to try to mentor.  He is rather lost and is continually leaving town traveling to Choluteca, Tegucigalpa, and even Nicaragua when he  thinks in Concepción are not exciting enough for him.  His uncle brought him to us to try to influence some of his behavior and to evaluate to tell him if there was something mentally wrong with Douglas since he likes to leave without telling anyone.  Our goal is to get him back in to school and help him meet his potential.
Michelle Another volunteer from Charlston, S. C. who live in Orocuina, Choluteca which is about 4 hours from our site.
