After the library opened we initiated a reading program to
encourage kids to read. Each child is given a sheet which they color,
cut, and sting together as their very own book. Themes focus on
character development and kids are directed to other books in library with
similar themes. When Mom Silvera visited she assisted in one of these
program, donated some books she had brought from the U.S. and introduced the
kids to temporary tattoos.
